“ This is a pricier place for dim sum, but the quality of food was definitely there. We waited about 45 minutes before getting seated for a table of 2. Once we got seated, we were served with the menu and a paper to check off which items we wanted off the menu. We got the classic dim sum items, all were good but again for the price, I feel like the taste is very similar to those at a more casual-scale dim sum spot. Something that was different than normal was the truffle siu mai. While I usually love truffle, I couldn't really taste the truffle in the siu mai. It added a nice flair to the siu mai, but I think I prefer the regular siu mai's more. The space inside the restaurant is huge. They have plenty of seating but it does get really packed. It's also located in a busy plaza, so while there is free parking lot, you might have to find parking on the street if you come at a very busy time. I definitely recommend coming here for dim sum if you want something a little more upscale. Their other non-dim sum food items also looked good, which I would love to try next time. ”
“ Fambam Dinnertime! My mom's friend recommended this spot for Chinese dinner and it was great! We got here a bit early and it was pretty quiet but it got more busy as people flowed in. Beef Chow Mein - we always have to get noodles for the littles, but I like noodles too. This was pretty good and flavorful. Love the crunchy noodles. Crab and Fish Maw Soup - this is one of my favorite soups. They made it well here. Don't forget the splash of red vinegar! House Special Lobster - this was peppery and yum. Love the lobster. It was on special for $10/lb when you order 5 entrees. Walnut Shrimp - fresh shrimp and delicious candied walnuts This restaurant is nicely decorated and more formal than other restaurants. They have a few separated rooms for private parties. Service was quick and friendly. Parking is pretty convenient in the shared lot. I'll be back to try out the dim sum. Recommended! ”
“ This restaurant is very good, inexpensive and delicious, every time I come to Los Angeles, it is a very good restaurant. ”
“ Best known for Dim Sum in the day time and banquets for weddings and birthdays celebrations in the evenings. It's a pretty large location and they have 4 VIP rooms with gorgeous gigantic wall size LED monitors. We've been here mostly for their dim sum and a few occasion for dinner birthdays and gatherings. We picked up a dimsum cart full of dim sums for Christmas party! In my opinion, one of the better tasting dim sum and Cantonese cuisines in LA. To me, their dim sum are pretty authentic and consistent. Every dim sum places have items that are good, and average or not so good dishes. My favorite at this location are there's baked bbq pork buns. So big and filled with lots of delicious bbq pork meat. Pretty authentic and huge like it's the way back in the days! Bbq porkbis on point and I'm very sensitive to meat taste, I hate funky after taste of meat. I've always had good experience with theirs. The dough on the buns is good also. Their big steam chicken buns! Only 2 in an order but they are gigantic! Not just filled with dough but filled with meat and fillings and pretty tasty! Their steamed salted egg yolk custard buns are on point. The salted egg custard part is runny with consistency not like some restaurants which have them over cook or too runny that is like soupy. Their shui mai are huge andnfillednwith pork and shrimp fillings. The below items are average, and same as elsewhere. Beef balls, chicken feet, spare ribs, har gow, shrimp rice noodles, Chinese sausage buns, egg tarts. They have a takeout section next to the restaurant with Chinese BBQ, Dim sums, and a fast food items. Dim Sums are buy 2 plates and get 1 plate free after 3PM. You can only pick the free dish for the steamed items, no buns, no shumai, so it's alright Blooming VIP took over the old restaurant and and renovated it to one of the most classy, grand, Chinese restaurant in SGV. It's been 2 years since they opened and their restrooms are no different than other Chinese restaurants now.. dirty, dusty, and stinky. (Lol! Sorry my pet peeve, dirty, stinky Chinese restaurant's restrooms.) Same shopping center in GW market and plenty of parking spots. Busy on weekends and may not find parking right away. ”
“ Had dim sum here with the family during Lunar new year recently and I was surprisingly shock how delicious the food tasted despite the ratings. Back at home, dim sum there is good and homey, but the palate at Blooming tastes actually more Chinese traditional if you know what I mean. We order lots of food, but the most memorable was the xiu mai. The meat was juicy and flavorful. The black truffle on top was the cherry on top, 5/5. The fish porridge however was definitely a 1/5. No flavor, so bland, just naw. Reason why it's a 4/5 stars for me is because the service is ass. Not friendly, not attentive and they seem lost. Don't have much to say to the management team, but the food is good that's it. ”
“ Wow! So many dim sum options, I didn't know where to begin! Dim sum is the best when you're with a big group and can order a ton of dishes to share. This place has an awesome lobster special for just $10/lb. You order on a paper menu, and they bring the food right to your table. This is way better than those traditional places where they keep pushing carts around and you end up with a mountain of food without even realizing it! Here, you can carefully plan your order and get exactly what you want. We arrived around 9:30 am on Christmas Day, and the place was practically empty. Perfect timing! Just be aware that parking might get tricky around noon since it's in a busy plaza. Highly recommend checking this spot out! ”
“ What's up: Here to grab some dim sum to go! They have a separate area from the main restaurant that focuses on BBQ and to go items. Parking: Since we were early, parking was plentiful. Their lot is shared with the nearby businesses of The Square. When it gets later in the day, parking can be difficult. Environment: Walking in, you'll see the menu and prices overhead and the towers of Dim Sum behind the display. There's also Chinese BBQ available so if you want to grab a roast duck with your Dim Sum, go for it lol. Line up and tell the staff behind the counter what items you want. They'll ring you up at the end. What was ordered: - Dim Sum Yay/Nay/Meh: Yay. The food was hot and yummy. The ordering process was quick and we were out in no time. Credit cards are accepted. ”
“ I was invited to a birthday party hosted here and they ordered various dishes including stir fry lobster, fried rice, yudugeng soup, roasted duck, walnut shrimp, a typical share platter, and some others. The one that stood out the most to me was the stir fry lobster. The meat was springy and flavorful from the sauce they stir fried it in. I scooped out all the meat from the shell and then added it to the fried rice. Another notable dish was their soup that had actual crab meat in it too. Overall, it was like the typical party style chinese food except better than average. I would be willing to come back to this place if another one of those chinese parties are held here again. ”
